HollyhockAlpacas

Handmade from Alpaca fiber

Announcement    Greetings Etsy Shoppers!

My name is Teresa. In my shop you will find items hand made from alpaca fiber and/or yarn. My husband and I raise alpacas at Hollyhock Farm Alpacas in central Minnesota. Alpacas are environmental-friendly critters who grow wonderful fiber. They share the fiber with me, and I offer it to you!

Alpacas have the softest, warmest, and strongest fiber you can find. I will offer raw fiber and roving from our animals. I spin, knit, weave and felt with the fiber from our animals. I also use commercial alpaca yarn for knitting and weaving projects. I prefer natural dyeing - using Kool-Aid or other things from nature when I dye my alpaca yarn. Most of my items are one-of-a-kind. You can see more of my work at www.HollyhockAlpacas.com and you can read my blog about living with alpacas at www.hollyhockalpacas.com/blog/.

I hope you will find the perfect gift for a loved one or a special treat for yourself. The strength of alpaca fiber means your purchase will last many years, even generations! Thanks so much for looking at the labor of my love.

Those interested in raw fiber - see my policies on reserving a fleece - http://www.etsy.com/shop_policy.php?user_id=7131515. Thanks.
